Refund Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This policy explains when and how money is returned on Mullahc. It applies to escrow deals, the escrow wallet, Mullahc wallet deposits, withdrawals and fees.

1. Escrow deals

  • Before funding. An escrow that has not been funded can be cancelled at no cost. Nothing has been paid, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Seller cancels after funding. If the seller cancels a funded escrow, the buyer is refunded in full.
  • Disputes. If the buyer and seller cannot agree, either party can open a dispute or write @admin in the escrow chat. The money stays locked while Mullahc reviews the messages, evidence and handover checklist. Mullahc then releases the money to the seller, refunds the buyer, or splits it, and explains the decision to both parties.
  • Where refunds go. Escrow refunds are paid into the buyer's escrow wallet. From there the buyer can use them for another escrow or withdraw them (USDT / USDC for USD, or mobile money for the local currency).
  • Released money is final. Once the buyer releases the money, or it is released automatically after delivery because the buyer did not respond in time, it cannot be refunded through Mullahc.

2. Escrow fees

The escrow fee is shown before an escrow is funded, as a percentage and an amount, together with who pays it. If an escrow is cancelled before funding, no fee is charged. When a dispute is decided, the fee is shared in proportion to how the money is split.

3. Escrow wallet and Mullahc wallet deposits

A deposit is credited only after the payment provider confirms it. A deposit that the provider confirms is final; to get the money back, withdraw it. If you were charged but your wallet was not credited, contact support with the transaction reference and we will investigate with the provider and credit or return the money.

4. Withdrawals

Withdrawals sent to the wrong address or number because of incorrect details you entered may not be recoverable. Check the details before confirming. A withdrawal that fails is returned to the wallet it came from.

5. Verification fee

Where a verification fee applies, it covers the cost of checking your identity and is not refundable once verification has started.
